Yes, the international orders have been such a stressful headache for me.  I
had 12 orders hung up at different outgoing ports and customs since late March.
A few broke loose in late May and arrived and 4 were finally delivered this
week so hopefully things in that area will get back to normal.  One of those
buyers was talking with their countries post office and were being told
everything is flowing normal so there should be no delay but after 10 weeks in
the system the package finally arrived to him.  I have had no problem with the
International first class tracking and it kept me pretty up to date but it
updated faster on Stamps.com where I print my shipping labels then it did on
the USPS website.
As for Ebay...  I don't have a plan b that will work better for me.  I had my
own website for a bit but too hard to draw traffic in.  I sell some items on
facebook but ebay still works best for me.  Understand though that I'm not like
some of you and most of my items sell for less than $10 so my money is made in
volume sales and not hundreds of dollars made on the sale of one great poster.
Regardless of where or how you are selling I wish you the best.

 Good for you!
I've had a couple recent transactions on ebay that have been awful. Mainly it's
due to the global shipping program, a great excuse for ebay to take a little
more out of buyer's and, I assume, seller's pockets. It's terrible and it takes
forever and the tracking is completely useless. The odd seller who still does
things the old way is wonderful to run across in these days when shipping is
almost a deal breaker, especially from the US to me in Canada. If shipping
continues to get even more ridiculous, I guess it will be a strictly US
thing...maybe that's their goal?
Anyway, always happy to see someone leave that site if they can.
All the best,M

Subject: [MOPO] I just said good-bye to my ebay store ebay has once again been
pestering me lately, telling me I need to ‚adjust‘ my store listings to once
again ‚comply‘ with their ‚new rules‘. Today, I received another message from
them, informing me some adjustments will soon become ‚mandatoy‘ and others will
be ‚optional‘.  Their decision to introduce mandatory ‚automatic renewal‘ some
time ago already pushed me to the edge and I thought about canceling my store
subscription back then.  Now they are at it AGAIN. Whatever their new rules
might be, I don‘t even want to know. My yearly subscription would‘ve ended in
three days anyway, and after that I would‘ve been stuck with them for another
year. Not anymore. I just canceled my subscription, so on July 1, my ebay store
will be history. I was still making a little bit of money, but not nearly
enough to take up with yet ANOTHER set of new rules and regulations. On top of
their ridiculous fees, that is. Also, in recent months, my quota of non-paying
buyers has increased dramatically. That sellers are not allowed to leave
appropriate feedback for deadbeat bidders is yet another thing that has
bothered my since the day they introduced that policy. I‘m buying and selling
on ebay since 1999, so I have watched pretty much all of their so-called
‚improvements‘ over more than two decades by now. So far, I could still
convince myself to stick with them, but not anymore. Enough is enough. Helmut
