I think I responded to a similar question sometime ago… The only movie I ever walked out of was cries and whispers… I was 21 years old when I went to see it and I remember squirming around in my seat and eventually left the theater… I think if I had seen it Later in my life, I would have appreciated it more… I can relate to something Greg mentioned in his post about being in a movie theater with the AC breaking down… I went to see the other side of midnight on a very very hot day once summer in a crappy run down theater in the Bronx.. yes the AC failed.. you might remember one of the lines that was repeated in the movie something like “ I’m the boy yr the girl there’s the bed” well people were getting very hot, bothered and impatient, and in a developing scene later in the movie somebody jumped up from the audience and yelled” yeah, we know he’s the boy yr the girl let’s get on with it already” hysterical.. finally changing a little bit from grueling to gruesome which could be a whole other topic, one movie that comes to mind is I spit on your grave..in my mind aka payback is a bitch
