Hi Andrea,

Some coleagues from Barcelona worked on a vey intersesting methods using
waveleth analysis- the results were realy good but only programed in
commertial software. Also, I think there are some guys using spectral
analysis.
Please let me know, because I can look for the references tomorrow, in
my computer if you want.

    Dear morphometricians,
    please, any suggestion about software for geometric morphometric
    analyses
    of shapes without labelled landmarks? I mean something like potato 
chips
    outlines, where there is no single 'homologous' landmark. I seem to
    remember that there are methods for the analysis of outlines that, with
    some limitations, can be used for this, and also extensions of
    superimposition methods for unlabelled landmarks, but I know very 
little
    about it and nothing on software availability.
