Hi Everyone, About a month ago, I wrote and asked for help with a presentation I was doing. Lori, Beverlee, and a few others gave me great ideas. I presented yesterday with my collegue and it was GREAT! Your ideas helped polish what we had developed. Everyone loved it. Thank you- this list is such an inspiration and a support.
This was our New York State Reading First conference. I was so excited to see how our state is moving toward strategies. Many workshops talked about strategies and comprehension. Susan Zimmerman presented and she was outstanding. Mosaic was talked about in several of the sessions (and of course- in our session). The joy of reading and giving students independent reading time was also part of our Keynote address. I know things in our state are going in the right direction. This is so exciting!
