I AGREE, PROVIDING KIDS TIME TO READ IS PROBABLY THE SINGLE MOST VALUABLE USE OF CLASS TIME BUT TWO HOURS A DAY???? IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, I ONLY HAVE MY ENGLISH STUDENTS ONE HOUR - 7 DAYS OUT OF 10. DOESN'T GIVING KIDS MAJORITY OF IN CLASS TIME TO READ REDUCE THE IMPORTANCE OF A GOOD TEACHER AN DGOOD TEACHING?
