Although I may be somewhat late in responding, I just make sure that I include all parts but I wonder if we aren't worrying about the wrong things... Is it more important to instruct students in the content or spend your instructional time making sure they are aware and can repeat that this is the "I do, We do, You do" part? Kind of reminds me of all of the students who can shout out "prior knowledge" when you ask what they use to make a prediction but if you ask them what prior knowledge means, they have no idea. Who are we doing this for and why?
