A group of birders were at the Minneapolis/St Paul Airport to see the Snowy Owl. It looks like we've been viewing the owl in a restricted area. There's an opened fenced in parking lot with the electrical trucks and other cars parked inside. This is only for construction crews on the airport. The officer that approached us this evening told us that the area will now have the gate locked to keep birders out. If the gate is open birders are still not allowed in.
Meanwhile, I live seven blocks from the Minneapolis snowy owl that was found this morning. I heard the crows in the neighborhood going bonkers about 9:30am, I wonder if they were chasing it my way?
