Hello Tom, and all others, The New Germany wetlands are quite wide. I don't think binoculars would be of much value. That said, I was there on Sunday and the water was very high. Birds that forage in mud were elsewhere, also the egrets and herons were scarce. I noticed Purgatory Creek in Eden Prairie was not mentioned here. That area is productive and not as large as New Germany. 44.856788,-93.439692
