neither `mozilla' nor `mozilla -ProfileManager' gets beyond the
splash screen (I do not have netscape 6 or 6.01).
I tried removing Users50 directory but it did not help either.
(Moz 0.7 still works, but 0.8 is supposed to fix some crashes, so I
would love to be able to run it...)

there is no "Xpcs Registry.dat", and removing "component.reg" did not
help.
