I just wanted to add.
The list seems to be kind of long but I think mozilla is very good now.
I use mozilla for a couple of reasons.
1. Ability to turn off java script in email. Very important for many viruses
2. More control over my browsing experience
For example as of this release 0.9.4 there is a js directive that lets
you turn off pop up windows on page load and page unload. I was using
the "no popups at all" directive before and I kept on having to add
pages to the allow list but this new feature seems to be just what I
needed. Only disallow automatically popped up windows. But allow button
press popup windows.
Its because of this greater control that I will continue to use mozilla.
Also as I see myself using linux more and more for my main desktop(I
dont now). I like the cross platform nature of it. Learn once and its
there on the other platform. I try as much as possible to use cross
platform apps for that reason.
I'll have to be dragged kicking and screaming to win-xp. But it may be a
losing battle. Currently I use win98se but the people around me have all
migrated to win-2k.
