I have heard bad I tried Mozilla 0.9.3, and ended out going back to Netscape 4.78, since, despite all of its bugs, it was many, many times more stable than Mozilla. I'm now trying out Mozilla 0.9.4, and while it's running much better for me, it still seems to be causing a number of problems (after only a few hours of use). If that number of problems increases much as I use it more, I'll be back with Netscape 4.78, which I still have installed. >1.which is the best version of netscape/mozilla to download and where do >I get it? Personally, I think 4.78 is still the most stable and usable out of the Netscape/Mozilla bunch, based on my experiences with Netscape 4 and Mozilla, and based on people's claims that NS 6.1 uses the same engine that the buggy Mozilla 0.9.x uses (which presumably means that when Mozilla screws up, NS6.1 would, too). >2.how stable is mozilla/ns6? For the last few hours, I've been using Mozilla as my primary browser, but I've already found a bunch of sites I have to go back to Netscape 4.78 in order to use. Previously, when NS was my primary browser, it was also nearly my only browser. It would be very rare that I'd find a page I had to use IE for. >and 3.how compatible is it? Fortunately, it doesn't overwrite your current browser or its settings, so if you install it and don't like it, you can easily go back to using Netscape 4.7x (I'd recommend upgrading to 4.78, at least. That seemed to fix a lot of problems I had with 4.76).
