Thanks for the info.  I tried adding that line as well, and still see no 
difference - at least not here in the reply/composition window. I think 
part of my reason for disliking the quote bar, is that I tend to edit 
replies in such a way as to make them look "nice" to *me*.  I have no 
idea what the end result may be.  In some cases my attempt to reformat 
on this end may make things worse. :-)
