Why even BOTHER claiming to be an user-friendly customizable UI
if we have to go through all THAT crap to make it display
properly?

I've been critical of the mail/news UI for quite awhile.
I hate the damn header bar.
I hate the default display.
I hate the lack of address book export function.

Kudos to the team for making it actually work. Great work, and
you all deserve the credit for salvaging this app's reputation.

But I can't stand the UI for even a few minutes. It gives me
headaches.

Now that's it's actually workable, someone should start paying
attention to making it "usable". (as in "users are willing to
use it").
