I like it. And I had no part in making it :-) The blue bars, which you
hate, took me a while to learn to like. But now I wouldn't miss them.
Why there can't be preferences, at least under some "advanced" header
for this I don't know. There's always some advanced user who wants to
see every byte in hex (almost.)
