Well, you can disable window.open entirely, or only for certain
domains. See http://www.mozilla.org/unix/customizing.html for more
info. Don't know if there's a way to disable it only if it happens
from window.close, but you might find info on that in
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/components/configPolicy.html
