How else did you think it was financed? The bandwidth bill for the
*.mozilla.org computers must be absolutely unbelievable. Do you see
PayPal Donate buttons, banner ads, or magic money-making faeries
anywhere on the Mozilla site? No? Then the site must be generously
funded by someone. Who could it be? Hmmm, maybe it's Netscape
Communications, seeing as how they do every other task needed to keep
the Mozilla project going.

Yes, this does mean that mozilla.org is dependant on and so possibly
biased in favour of Netscape. But the Mozilla source code is not
dependant on any entity, nor does it play favourites. Take it, set up
your own bug tracking system and CVS thingy on your own site. You can
enjoy complete independance from Netscape. And then, if you become
sucessful, you can enjoy paying monthly bandwidth bills. If you don't
like that plan, then realistically, your highness, I think we have to
accept Netscape control for the time being.
