Ok, I realize that this is now developing into an expert discussion, which
is impossible for me to follow.

What I will do now, is to experiment a bit with different compilations and
report back to this list with the results.

Just one more question: can somebody recommend sites with compilations (as
some of the links on Dmitry's site seem to be broken)
