The problem is that lame is very stubborn about setting the genre. If
you specify an invalid genre, lame never falls back on a default (such
as "other").
I consider this a feature... if I make a mistake by specifying an not existing genre I want to know about it.
Gabriel, do you insist to "fix" the genre or should I try to get some time to fix "year" and "track number"?
I do not insist on using a default value in case of misspelling. I thought that at least for genre it could be a good idea, because it is easy to do a misspelling.
If you want to change a little the tagging functions to properly display and return an error, I am ok with it.
