Try with GMP 4.3.2 for example... ;-)

There had been a bug in t-scan (i.e., just the test suite, not the
library) for a long time which incidentally only popped up with GCC
4.8.0 and later versions;  this has been fixed in GMP a while ago (don't
recall which exact version) and also in MPIR [1], 2.7.0 IIRC.
