The former and latter points are correct. Unfortunately regular math
doesn't work with tax issues, especially in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
When the taxes go up, others do not come down. Everyone just pays
more. I guess it's a kind of new "new math," but it's really not so new
anymore. We've seen this happen time and time again. That's why we
need to start looking at these things differently.
