This is fantastic news! I was just at the Dakota with my brother who is visiting from England and my Dad from out west of the cities to see jazz pianist Abdullah Ibrahim. We had a fantastic time! The 10 o'clock show we attended was sold out and elbow room was at a minimum so the Dakota can definitely use more space.
I'll be excited to be able to see this quality of jazz just blocks from my home.
