Though it's not particularly relevant to whether or not the Guthrie deserves a subsidy(particularly under the current state/municipal fiscal situation) I'd like Dyna and interested others know that one can obtain easily affordable tickets to the Guthrie if one doesn't mind showing up a little early to performances to get rush tickets. I've paid as little as $10 for prime seats at the Guthrie by going this route. One caveat, occasionally, particularly if a show is a major hit, there will be no rush tickets that come available. The box office employees cannot guarantee to you whether or not there will be rush tickets available but seem more than willing to let you know there perception as to whether rush tickets will be available if call earlier the same day. David Strand Loring Park P.S. Still kicking myself for missing the Guthrie Lab production of Caryl Churchill's "Top Girls". __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
