IMHO it's a "bad" idea to use this approach. It gives you no admin flexibility to redirect messages, and I think you need to authorise all users doing it to be able to write directly to the XMIT queues.
Far better to ALWAYS use a QREMOTE definition. That said however, you still get the problem of authorisation on XMIT queues for reply messages if MQMD.ReplyToQMgr is used, which will be needed if the sending application is using a dynamic queue.
