David,

You probably got a number of S5C6 ABENDs prior to the S6C6. This might
be memory-related (lack of Virt. Storage) and/or a msg-length issue. Are
you trying to send msgs larger than 4 MEG on channels/queue managers that
are not configured to handle these size msgs? What about the receiving
QMGR - is it set-up to handle these msgs, including DLQs on both ends?

  Some things to check.

Regards,
  Art

However the channel is up and running and this problem occurs on the z/os
platform.
I already check the MSTR and CHIN and there is no error messages.
Stop/start the channel will not fix the problem since it causes MSTR to
crash with 6C6.
I already open a PMR with IBM with SEV 2.
We are at WMQ 5.3.1 and z/os 1.3

Channel cannot get itself running for whatever reason.

What do the AMQERROR logs say on both ends for this channel?

Hi, All,

What are the possible reasons that might cause messages stuck in the
transmission queue?
I check the MQXQH and it looks OK.
Thanks for your help.
