Thanks Paul, I found a "Technote" that mentioned another environment variable that could be used instead:
export AMQ_THREADMODEL_RESET=1 Is it preferable to use this e.v. rather then LD_ASSUME_KERNEL, and if so what values are available for it and what is their impact?
