OID looks correct. Is this a Cisco Device? can you do an snmpget from the command line? Does it return a proper value?
If Cisco Device what is it? ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Steve Shipway Sent: Tuesday, September 08, 2009 4:10 PM To: NAP; [email protected] Subject: Re: [mrtg] error in temperature oid Try adding .0 to the end of the OIDs, this may be the problem. Also, the error message says this OID does not exist - maybe the reason is that your device simply does not support temperature readings?
