Hello

I am Lohitaksh. I study in IIIT Delhi, India, 1st year. Being interested
open source, I would like to start contributing to MuseScore. I have
compiled and run MuseScore on my computer (on Ubuntu 14.10).

I am comfortable with the following languages and technologies:
1. C, C++, Python, C#
2. Python Django, PHP
3. HTML, CSS, Javascript

It would be really helpful if someone can help me get started. Should I
start working on bugs fixes or take up a project which will take a
relatively longer time to complete, or do you recommend starting with
something else?

Also, I play the drums (grade 6, LCM), and guitar (grade 4, Rock School). I
understand sheet music notation, so I think I will be helpful in
contributing to this software.

Thanks

Regards
Lohitaksh
