Correct, and that can easily be obversed in Gnome System Monitor, while
doing something like compiling FPC.
As for the comment about GDB and Multi CPU or Multi-core systems. I have
been using quad core systems since early 2010 for all my development work,
using Linux. No problems here. I now use OpenSUSE 12.1, again with no
problems.
