Stupid idea: ¿Isn't your new makefile makefile.txt and Windoze is hiding the extension? Some editors append a .txt by default and if Windows is set to hide known file extensions...

I am testing the installation using the leds example. If i run MAKE with the makefile provided everything is ok but if i edit the makefile to change processor, MAKE can't find the file. If i run MAKE -f makefile all is ok. I have done a hexdump on the makefile before and after editing and both are terminated with cr/lf and both have the same file attributes I am logged on with administrator priviledges. Could this have something to do access rights? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
