Hi Chris and list,

I think this problem has something to do either Win xp dos emulation
or the Cygwin dll that is included in the installer package.

As i pointed out in my mail of September 30 the same problem exists
in some of the examples included, i have tried the char_lcd and gfx_lcd
examples, and if you look at a directory listing in either of
of these examples, you will see that the MAKEFILE is in uppercase so
they won't work with make (no arguments) but work with make -f makefile.

that may be the problem. does it use old DOS APIs where even the latest
windows returns those cripled 8x3 file names? that calls for problems ;-)

i usualy use scite (http://scintilla.sourceforge.net/SciTE.html)

F7 runs make, and i have mapped ctrl+1 to "make download", F4 or a
double click positions the cursor on the line with the error.
