MSPDebug 0.10 is now available from mspdebug.sourceforge.net. It now
supports multiple breakpoints (which also work via the GDB interface),
a new chip (MSP430F5529) and several new file formats (COFF, S19, TI
Text).
There are also various bug fixes, including fixing the odd behaviour
when resuming after a breakpoint that many of you noticed.
Although there are now several 5xxx chips listed as being supported,
please note that MSPDebug currently only supports 16-bit addressing.
Planned features for the next release are:
- support of 20-bit addressing
- simulation of the MSP430X CPU
- disassembly of the MSP430X instruction set
As always, I look forward to hearing your comments.
Regards,
Daniel
