New subscribers to this list receive an email with instructions for posting to 
the list, changing their settings, and unsubscribing from the list. Also, every 
message posted to the list has a link to the list's web page appended to the 
bottom. Finally, there's an automatic monthly password reminder email telling 
subscribers how to log in to change their settings; it's on by default, unless 
the user manually turns it off.

This isn't rocket surgery.
