Are you a coder?
Hmm... I'm not a coder and I'm obstinated, too... ;)

>If they want to make a certain kind of programme, they just plan
>it, and ahead.
>May it be nice or a nonsense, may it take even years or few
>winter afternoons, may it be designed for a tiny configuration or
>a ridiculously big one, may it be a game or an utility, and so on.
>And if they do NOT want to code it for certain hardware, you
>both can bet your lives and souls that they WILL NOT.
>And otherwise, if they have the conceived idea to make it using
>this, this, and that, they'll do.
>So if you hear about an hypothetical Nestor Wulms wanting to
>make certain programmes using DOS2, he will do it for DOS2
>only, regardless of any advice or external pressure. (I dunno
>about 'physical' pressures X-DDDDDD)
>The same goes for a possible Cas Zorita wanting to make a 2+
>game, or a Henrik Heremans coding a new compressor, even
>an Kenneth Pazos wishing to code just in Kun Basic, or... ad
>nauseam.

These phrases sounds familiar to me? Ah, yes! I have said it before! Just
change all words related to "software development" to "hardware
development".
If your supposed Alex Soriano wants to make certain hardware (for example a
Z380 MSX), he will do a Z380 MSX, only, regardless of any advice or external
pressure.
The same for Daniel Cremers, wanting to make a hard project (for example, an
MSX with a Z380), or a Kenneth Pazos wishing to build only a concrete hard
project (for example, an MSX with a Z380), or... ad aeternum.

>There are cases they abandon their projects, but always by
>own decision. Regardless of any past or present opinion.
>So, if any programmer owner of a Z380 board decides to code
>for it, he will. Regardless of any contrary opinion. And if it's mine,
>even less.

Let's return to Pepe Sánchez Sánchez. the normal MSX user, who hasn't any
idea of what coding is.
Well, Pepe reads some negative opinions about Z380 project. Pepe reads your
messages, and other messages like the your.
Then, our friend Pepe will think "Oh! Z380 isn't a good idea! I will not buy
it!". Then, some units of Z380 MSX are not selled. Then, messages like the
your cause to lessen the sells of new products.

I understand you when you say that there isn't software for other good hard
products like GFX9000. For this, what you must do is not to blame new
projects. It is a better idea to explain the good things of GFX9000.

Let's prepare for the "evolution", not simply stop it.

>>The Russian developers aren't really working on it anymore
>(and if I'm correct they'll put the desings on the net???),
>I am aware of this. I was being hypothetical.

he he he You are an erudite! Hypothetical phrases, retoric questions, master
of expression...

>Mainly a guy, Leonardo Padial. He's undoubtly a master on
>Electronics. Making a comparison, he's something like a Henrik
>Gilvad 'in the shadows'.
>But AFAIK Leonardo hasn't worked in group before, at least in
>MSX.

Ramon, a question. Before those hard projects, Leonardo was related to MSX?
What does he before the hard projects?

>>Anyway, I think the one who is first finished will have the
>>standard for it and the other one has to resign or adapt his
>>project, unless its design is much cheaper and better ofcourse.
>>Yes, I know 'better' is very relative.
>But a lot, eh??? ;)
>(For instance: PC)

Very, very relative...

P.S.: Ramon, I'm waiting the answer for my other message. Remember, my email
is [EMAIL PROTECTED], not [EMAIL PROTECTED] (I say this because I sended
the last message from a web mail service and it hasn't put my address well).
