Well, the statement above is VERY weird itself. It would
be pure nonsense if Intel, some years ago, had dropped the
entire x86 line. Imagine it made 286 and nothing after it.
Now, Intel wants to release II64 (Intel Imaginary 64-bit).
But, first, it wants to draw attention to its older x86
line. Since 286 motherboards aren't available anymore
(not really, but let's suppose so), they release a 286
emulator for a new processor from Motorola. :P
This still sounds VERY weird and I tried my best to make
it sound at least logical. At least something made sense:
they're trying to emulate an older machine and create a
newer machine afterwards.
But the contrary is also true: Intel effectively tried
Itanium on simulators before actually producing a working
chip.

Maybe not even the emulator, since some people say
it'll be free. But what's wrong with selling software?
They're a software company, after all. :))

Everybody who is an expert. `:P~~~
Nahh, I'm just being picky. But if someone CAN make a
new computer and HAS the legal rights to slap a sticker
with "MSX" on it, that's ASCII and nobody else.
I bet Educar will be better, although without a "MSX"
sticker. And if I slap an sticker on it, ASCII doesn't
need to know. ;)

You're being realistic here, and most people probably
agree with you. I agree completely.

Let's put an "MSX" sticker on Dreamcast, too! `:))

There has always been. Thank goodness.

I can't samba at all. :)
But an MSX Carnival would be funny! Can you imagine
an alegoric car with a giant blue penguin over it? ^^
