My 3rd lesson was to always eat lunch (not just Phil's biscuits) - Justine and I had been having a conversation about only the same on that day!! Although at least his stomach would have been empty if they did have to anaesthetise him I suppose......

Sympathies go out to Rob Patton, who was enjoying himself so much on Caddon Bank this afternoon that he decided to make a new route straight down the hill collecting an open fracture of his left forearm in the process (what are those bones called Lee? tib and fib?). He was really brave about it and walked himself down the hill to the waiting ambulance before being wisk'ed of to borders general where I suspect he will be staying until monday. Pictures will no doubt be available soon for the blood thirsty and strong of stomach.
Cheers Tim

Lessons for today:
1. Don't let people go off on their own, its was 5 minutes before we realised he wasn't coming back up for another go at the drops :-( 2. When you are feeling really confident and skillful is the time when you are most likely to fall off and hurt yourself :-)
