Diego will be 5 in August. We adopted him at 8months old from Mexico. My
husband "wanted him to have a firm grasp of English before starting Spanish".
Even now he's hesitant to speak Spanish to us, don't know why. We've worked on
counting in Spanish before but never REALLY concentrated on it. We're following
his lead and interest in increasing Spanish usage in the home.
