Hi!

sorry to resume this old thread but I don't seem to find anything newer on this
topic.

I am trying to use the latest version of MPD (0.16.8) on OsX Lion with an
external USB dac that is integrated my power amp.

Now, I am not very familiar with patches and recompiling on Mac so I'd like to
know if, in the meantime, the situation has evolved for MPD in MacOsX and where
can I find documentation on how to configure MPD to output to the USB DAC.

If the patch is still needed, is it working on MPD 0.16.8? Where do I find the
DAC "audio device name" to configure the patched MPD?
