Just playing around with that idea, here's a quick patch that goes on top
of the ticket-3916-skip-option.patch.
It adds $ssl_verify_partial_chains, that I think does what kratem32
mentioned.
Another idea would be making it a quadoption, with ask-yes and ask-no
revealing the "(s)kip" choice in the interactive prompt.
