Hello,

First, I have to say this: I've been using mutt on Linux (together
with win95 which I still need to keep) for less than a week, and
it already is my favorite-ever mail client. Editing mutt's config
file was a joy - to see the things I could have mutt do, that no
win95 mail application does. It's truly brilliant.

There's just oe thing that I'd love to be able to do, but haven't yet
figured out how: Can I tell mutt to *never* mark messages as read
unless I explicitly tell it to? When new mail arrives I usually scroll
doen the list to see what's in, and all the messages I scroll past are
automatically marked as read - which makes it harder to go back to
them when I do want to read them. A useful feature would be to have
two options:
  * only mark as read when a command is given by the user
  * mark a message as read when it's been viewed in the pager for
more than X seconds. (Just as an example, I would probably set
X to something rather large in fact, like a minute)

Also, I can't seem to be able to bind a function to Ctrl-arrow key
combination. I'd like to do something like
  bind pager \C<Down> next-line
but with this in .muttrc, mutt still says that jey is not bound
when I hit Ctrl-down_arrow, and the '?' lists:
  |Down> next-line
so I must be doing it wrong. The version I'm using is 0.95.4i.

Thanks a lot in advance,
