Are you using imap over ssl? (imaps://)
I built the full Debian source package on Ubuntu and still no luck.
So, I find that very odd.
My .muttrc didn't change. My imap server didn't change (different
machine). And the fact that when I built mutt from the repository the
numbers show up -- but only once -- makes the assume it has to be a
bug in mutt.
Further, If I start the version I build from the mutt repo as:
mutt -y
all zeros are shown. Yet, if I start mutt and then hit tab when
showing the list of mailboxes the numbers show (again, just once).
