So, I'm not clear on this bug. I'm not sure if it's related to patches added by distributions or, well, solved by them.
I built cvs, current (1.5.16), and an older version that I knew worked (as a package from Debian and Ubuntu, 1.5.13) form mutt.org. None work. I build Debian Sid (1.5.16) package from source -- didn't work. Gutsy 1.5.15 doesn't work, of course. I just built on my Gutsy machine Feisty source (1.5.13) and that *does* work. The mail box counts show correctly. There were a number of changes between 1.5.13-1 on Feisty to 1.5.15. Was some fix added by Debian that resolved the problem for 1.5.13 that didn't make it into mutt.org upstream? And was that fix later removed so that it no longer worked when Gutsy came out with 1.5.16? What can I do now to try and get this resolved in the 1.5.x dev branch? Is anyone using IMAP that can build mutt.org source package? Does it show mailbox counts correctly? BTW -- running "mutt -y" doesn't show the counts, but c+?+<tab> does work. Should mutt -y show the counts when using imap? I wasn't counting on building all these versions, so they are not well named, but of all this only feisty_src (1.5.13) has worked. The hg_mutt (Mercurial) partially worked. $ ls -lt | grep mutt drwxr-xr-x 3 moseley moseley 4096 2007-10-28 19:56 mutt_feisty_src -rw------- 1 moseley moseley 4188 2007-10-28 19:38 bumby.muttrc drwxr-xr-x 6 moseley moseley 4096 2007-10-28 19:33 mutt drwxr-xr-x 9 moseley moseley 12288 2007-10-28 19:33 mutt-1.5.13 -rw-r--r-- 1 moseley moseley 3442681 2007-10-28 19:31 mutt-1.5.13.tar.gz drwxr-xr-x 9 moseley moseley 12288 2007-10-23 20:01 mutt-1.4.2.3 drwxr-xr-x 9 moseley moseley 12288 2007-10-23 12:47 mutt-1.5.16 -rw-r--r-- 1 moseley moseley 2646433 2007-10-23 12:44 mutt-1.4.2.3.tar.gz drwxr-xr-x 3 moseley moseley 4096 2007-10-23 08:33 mutt_deb2 drwxr-xr-x 3 moseley moseley 4096 2007-10-22 15:35 mutt_deb_source drwxr-xr-x 3 moseley moseley 4096 2007-10-22 11:48 hg_mutt -rw-r--r-- 1 moseley moseley 3534894 2007-10-21 22:28 mutt-1.5.16.tar.gz -- Bill Moseley [EMAIL PROTECTED]
