Depends on the application model/ principle. There never has been a clear-cut definition of what's which element's job, or whether it should be kept simple and separate (modular, replacable, combinable) or integrated (monolithic). So other groups freely add features to their cash-cows for better sales. As so often it's flexibility vs. convenience. mutt has most of the time stayed with the simplistic/ powerful path... but there are exceptions to it, depending on where you draw the line, and this line has moved over time. It's hard to resist, but I hope mutt won't give in too easily... for whatever comes along the way, as long as can be wrapped. I guess the line hasn't yet reached/ crossed your feature, since automatic reminders are not inherently tied to eMail, there are other solutions for that (groupware, unix "at" or windows "tasks"). -- © Rado S. -- You must provide YOUR effort for your goal!
