If this works for you, then you're very lucky! I don't think this will work for me. I could tell the people asking me why my email looks funny that my mail must be read in landscape orientation, but I think they will just make a note to avoid asking me questions in future. I would like to avoid that. If it was up to me I'd continue using tw=72, but sometimes a compromise is necessary.
