Slimserver looks a little fat for my NAS device.

Until I get a working configuration on this, more tractable, platform,
I'm not about to start working on the NAS device itself.

Again, as I said, I'm also seeing these problems with a 10Mb hub and a
100Mb switch.

Ah, this is interesting. Slimserver looks a little ... gigantic. Has
someone produced a HOWTO for creating a smaller build that will run,
e.g., on the LinkSys device?
