Really?  I thought I saw one for less than $50 (more like $10) on ebay. 
  It was missing the software and power block - buy hey, I've never used 
the provided software and power blocks are easy to find.

FYI, it was probably an old wired NTSC version of the MediaMVP - if that 
matters to you.

Many moderate and high end amplifiers have low power in/out for 
connecting to secondary amplifiers in different rooms.  Be careful of 
current loops. I am guessing the MVPMC power block allows it's ground to 
float.  But two amplifiers connected to the same source using a common 
ground may have some current pass through the ground of the audio cable. 
  If you do run into problems and know what you are doing you can try to 
add isolation capacitors.  Otherwise you can try to plug both amplifiers 
into the same outlet. Yea, not elegant, but quick (i.e. run a heavy 
extension cord from both amplifiers about the same length to the same 
outlet).
