You have to redo everything everytime the MediaMVP reboots.
:-(

Frankly the Wiki and other docs need serious work and I couldn't
figure out the right thing to do. Anyone is welcome to move it to a
better spot. :-) .

According to the docs it seems to use rdate which only speaks RFC-868.
I did try many NTP servers including a local one and no joy. Installed
a local RFC-868 server in plave of the NTP one and it worked. I found
the reference to time.mit.com somewhere in the docs or mailinglists
and it worked also (for how long?).

This was my 3rd try in as many years to get this thing to do something
useful. I really just want ReplayTV and direct Internet Radio
capability - plus maybe what the "stock" MediaMVP can do. The Internet
Radio capability is seriously alpha <grin> so I might see if I can
make that a module instead of using the file browser and maybe get the
web interface to upload playlists instead of trying (poorly) to
generate them. Wonder if I can figure a way to get MVPMC to download
config/playlist/whatever files from the stock server app? I'm pretty
sure it is possible - even if they have to be pretend .jpg files or
some such. ;-)
