Not without a config file? My cheesy method didn't support one.

My first email draft was quite a bit more offensive than "need serious
work" <grin>. I've actually done windows help files using robohelp and
done a bit of technical writing and copy editing. Wikis scare me in
that if one just has at it they might be pissing off someone who likes
it the way it was and/or doesn't like what they did. I just can't get
my head around how a collaberative document like a Wiki could ever end
up cohesive without edits limited to one person? I could start a real
"Users Manual " in HTML starting off with what is in the Wiki and
other sources(?) easily enough but I'd need quite a bit of input from
users and the developers. I'd also be spending quite a bit of time
explaining what is broken in the web interface, its pretty scary now.

I didn't want to install a lot of junk on my PC to get it to go and
didn't want to need the PC to be up all the time. Seems like recent
work has made this doable!

Yah, I got that impression.<grin>.

I'm quite happy to be limited to mpeg audio streams that don't require
a local server to access. I pretty much only run my laptop and like to
be able to shut it down when through with it. I also have a Linksys
WMLS11B that plays mpeg internet radio streams directly without a
local server and mp3 files off local media servers it finds and would
like to do the same with the MediaMVP.

Take care,
Ron
