Really? I have multiple MediaMVPs and I suspect they all work w/o
intervention after, say, a power cycled for instance. At least that's
been my experience.

Agreed - if I were paying for this stuff I, well I would have something
to say. But it's all for the asking and, unfortunately, there hasn't
been a lot of people coming on board with a flare for organizing the
documentation. Interested?

Jon's ReplayTV feature of mvpmc has been rock solid for me. So much so
I have never had to ask him to fix a thing in probably more than a year.
That's more than I can say for my MClient feature. BTW, if you
have a ReplayTV box you might also consider running DVArchive (also free
for the asking last I checked).

I don't think many of the developers are interested in the stock set of
features found on a MediaMVP / Happauge Windows Server combination. I
for one have never run the stock Hauppauge Windows Server. Further, the
stock server / client paradigm is so different from what the mvpmc is
that the stock server wasn't even compatible until recently thanks to
Martin's efforts.

Consider the Internet radio feature of SqueezeCenter (aka Slimserver).
The mclient feature of mvpmc is a client of SqueezeCenter. You would be
in the company of many many many Slimdevices users & developers and, as
of recently, a little company called Logitech - which bought Slimdevices.
...have fun
