I believe that all of the flash-based units come with the newer, larger remote control (depicted on the right in [1]), and this will be pictured on the cardboard product packaging. 1. http://mvpmc.wikispaces.com/remote > I am looking to purchase from an EBay vendor, but the box is sealed. Be sure you are being shown an actual photo and not a stock photo. I made the mistake of not inquiring whether a photo was an actual photo and ended up getting a D3 rev. unit instead of an H-series unit, as was pictured. > :SL-1000-V2.0-US We should add a chart to the wiki for these numbers. I have a rev. H3 wireless with wMVP, model 1016, SL-1016-V2.0-US on the box; and a wired H3 with MediaMVP, model 1000, SL-1000-V1.2-US. The older (bought in 2006) wired unit also lacks a photo of the remote on the package, instead having a window to show the product inside (in which I don't think the remote would be visible). But it seems the newer packages have replaced the window with a photo of the product. It sounds like the number you listed should be for an H3 or newer. -Tom ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Register now and save $200.
