I haven't deployed my wireless MVP yet, so I don't know. (I need to 
restructure my wireless LAN first, as it currently is on a separate 
segment for security reasons.)

But I've seen others mention having used wireless MVPs on the mailing 
list, and I assume that included use as a MythTV client.

The wireless units do have wired Ethernet jacks, so aside from possibly 
extra setup effort to disable wireless or select the wired connection in 
the startup menus, it ought to work with a wired connection.
